They just built a huge building downtown. I’ve been hearing of the fiber optics coming to town from Verizon for literally 4-5 years. I’m sitting on Verizon DSL still (faithful customer since the 90s). I refuse to get Comcast. They’ve made me so mad and I’ve never been a customer. They block out local sports games on tv and they wonder why sales are down on tickets to the sporting events. I’ve heard that Comcast has been fighting Verizon in court about bringing FIOS here. And I do hate Comcast, especially since they came in, purchased TimeWarner in our area and subsequently jacked up rates.
