I agree that the greatest value was social. To be fair I did learn quite a bit about business and theory which I probably tend to underestimate, but the day to day stuff I use - 95% came from learning it all online and through experience. Polish universities are no different... Teaching basics of HTML and PHP (Pascal included) using materials back from 1997. Just a quick look at the university websites and you know all. Personal pages of teachers look more like 14 yo. old teen myspace profiles but without flash and other post 1997 technologies. Doing master degree (to work then as a real-world web programmer, designer, etc.) always seemed to be a total waste of time (not including social aspects of universities). Still the same.
