(www.ethionet.et) The actual price is 500 Birr for 1 year's registration 418 birr for a "setup fee" 15% tax on top of that. Sounds huge but when you consider that 1 birr = 10 cents US it's not so bad. As far as I can tell, you don't need to live in Ethiopia to register either. Or if you do, there's nothing on the web site. Also, I think it's not so much the .tt that's the hot thing but having a domain TLD that completes your name that's the bling bling new hotness.
