A relative of mine read that story in our local paper and proceeded to give me business advice: "I know you're doing your own thing... but this seems to be working great for people already..." Adsense can be a viable source of revenue, but it takes a ton of work to make those figures. (And I don't even think it's a business model, considering the website owner has no way to contact the traffic once it's left.)
